Restoring Life to the Land: The Karare Tree Nursery Story
In Karare village, REPAL and local youth groups have turned a once-barren patch of land into a thriving green space.
Over 15,000 trees have been planted, and community members now manage their own nurseries — growing seedlings for reforestation and income.

By rehabilitating boreholes and training local water committees, REPAL ensures sustainability long after project completion.

Youth Empowerment Through Sports and Mentorship
Sports for peace is one of REPAL’s most successful youth initiatives — reaching over 2,000 young people through tournaments, dialogues, and cultural exchanges.
The program promotes coexistence among pastoralist communities and helps youth find purpose beyond conflict.
